I am not a fan of any chemicals or herbal treatments for anxiety. I found an audio hypnotherapy program that helped me with my stress and anxiety.

Hypnosis creates a state of attention that is focused so you can accept suggestions which will help you retrain your thinking. This was very helpful for me. The program guides you through various exercises to help you learn how to react to different stressful situations, which in turn causes your anxiety. You are able to look at the world or the situation in a completely different manner.

I found this to be really helpful and you can get more information here:
References :
http://www.hypnosisnetwork.com/hypnosis/stress_anxiety.php

Herbal treatments are still chemicals. They are less controlled for quality than medication. I wouldn't mess with them. They're unpredictable.

If I was you, I'd speak to my school counselor. The counselor will then call your mom. Your mom will take your condition more seriously hearing it from a professional. She will then take you to a proper doc to take care of your problem - with or without the use of pills. But, you'll get the advice and help you need.
References :
Poor thing, I have been where you are and its not pretty....

Definitely see a natural therapist who can give you a herbal mixture to take to ease your stressed out nervous system. I can't remember what was in mine (hawthorne, ginger etc springs to mind) but I had to take 5ml x 3 times a day. It worked wonders for me. Additionally, my naturopath put me on fish oil, protein shakes (helps with serotonin production), magnesium and B Vitamin supplement in one.

I also saw a psychologist to talk about why I was so stressed/anxious which really helped. I think this is really important also, as the herbal treatment won't work unless you are mentally ready to tackle things.

This seemed to help for me, hope it does for you too. Good luck!
References :
this probably wasnt the answer you wanted. but you are normal. there is nothing different in you than most people. just sit back and try to think..why am i feeling like this? did you have a dream? worried about school or girl trouble/friends? maybe its nothing at all. if you want some magic cure-all, try hot cocoa or hot soup, those will calm you.
