How do you control or overcome panic attacks?
By
To charitykelson I accidently hit the thumbs down. I’m sorry. I loved your answer-these are great. Please keep them coming.
You have to take slow deep breaths. Focus your thoughts on something else. Almost like meditation. Close your eyes and just picture something that gives you peace. Keeping your breathing calm, slow, and steady. Just keep saying you’ll make it through, you can do it. Once you feel your heart rate slowing down, you’ll know your gonna make it!

Well, my last resort is self love. It helps alot if you get into your privacy of your house alone.

I have had my share of bad panic attacks. I get up walk around grab some water and watch something on tv or do something i like to get my mind off it. Your mind is what does it. Also deep breathing inhale through the nose out the mouth long deep breathes, and telling yourself your ok are things that help

I tend to have panic attacks in crowded places. Or when I am confined in any way.

Start taking B-vitamins and ginseng and kava kava and St. John’s Wort. Also if some bad experience you had a long time ago is bothering you learn from it and ask God to help you get over it and trust that he will protect you in the future especially if you are careful to keep yourself safe too.
