how to overcome panic attacks?
ByI was at my buddy’s house yesterday and all of a sudden I got an panic attack due to stress and the fact that i was having a bad day. I want to know how to overcome panic attacks? I was embarrased yesterday and I really dont want to have a panic attack again. So how do I overcome this?
I’ve been facing a similar problem before. Overcoming panic attacks was really difficult for me. The best way to battle panic attacks is to just simply face it. You can try using a powder called inositol which can be found at your local drug store. Mix it up with your o.j. and it’ll definitely help you relax. Taking enough vitamin B is also beneficial. The same goes with magnesium and omega’s.
Try not to think of having another panic attack as that has always helped me. Distracting myself to do other "important" things has minimized the amount of panic attacks I usually have.
I do a lot of reading online and I found a blog where people shared their stories about their Panic Attacks.

Some of them gave resources and tips to Overcome Panic Attacks. Try checking it out if you have time. It was inspiring to read some of their success stories.
If you ever feel another panic attack coming, you should just ride it out. Don’t try fighting it since it can become more worse than it is. Relaxtion therapy had a lot of positive affects when I used them and you can find more about it using the site I pointed out above.
You can try to figure out what triggers your panic attacks by writing it all down on paper. You can ask yourself.. what happened before the panic attack? what did i do during that day? was i neverous? what time did it occur? who was i with? Knowing this things will help you understand what triggers your panic attacks.
These are just the basic things of how to overcome panic attacks. Read the site I gave you and you’ll be able to get more tips. As much as possible, try not to think about your panic attacks. Focus on that and it’ll help in the long run!

You can’t over come them, just manage them. you probably have triggers, and when you are about to have one, you probably have some signs. Learn what your triggers are, and what your signs are. Some people feel itchy in the small of their back, others get a feeling of pressure in their head. Once you have identified them, avoid your triggers, and if you feel one coming in, get out of the situation. Over time, you will be better able to manage them, and then they start occurring less often. Or maybe take Paxil.

I suffered them for years. If you feel one coming on, grab a small paper bag and breathe in and out of it slowly until you relax. You need to seek help for them as they do not just go away. There are underlying reasons for them ie. stress, trauma. If you drink or do drugs…stop! as they aggravate them. The doc might prescribe an antidepressant such as Xanax for them. Nothing to be embarrassed about, many people suffer from them. I learned to NOT panic when I felt the signs, totally relaxed my body and talked my self out of them when I had that feeling of falling over a cliff. It works and I have not had one for a long time. Good luck.

Usually, you should see a doctor. They sometimes put you on Xanax, Valium or Klonopin.. Don’t think I spelled them right but, anyway I sometimes relax and sit alone.. Breath in thru your nose and out thru your mouth.. I was told Benedryl might help since it makes you drowsy
