How to overcome these panic attacks?

By admin

I know stress is the main issue. Now they seem like they are coming on more often because I’m so worried they are going to come on.Does that make sense? Started on Lexa pro a few days ago but I will take a pain killer to have some ‘now’ relief.

if you think you’re going to have one, start deep breathing and distracting yourself. tell yourself that you’re fine, and if you’re doing something you like, tell yourself that you’re having fun and you’re not going to succumb to this. try to relax, and it’ll help at least a little bit. hope this helps!

That is a good start & very possibly the solution. Please continue to check in with a doctor or loved ones. It must be hard for you. Maybe if you learn self-control through breathing & walks it can benefit your life in the future for some unknown reason.

My boyfriend is the same way. He was so worried that he would get one, that it kept causing him to get them. And they got so bad to the point where he was throwing up and couldn’t eat for four days. It was really scary.

He temporarily took Zoloft and some other stuff for it and that helped him. You should ask your parents to take you to a psychiatrist and see what they recommend.

I tried every kind of treatment and nothing would solve my problem. I had panic attacks during so many stressful situations, like being in a small space. I also experienced lower levels of anxiety, which caused me to have muscle spasms and it would take me three to recover. I never thought I would find a solution to my problems on the web, but My aunt told me to try AnxietyR and so far its really helped. I’d recommend it but each of us are different all I can give is my opinion.

Ask your doctor for some xanax, a tranquiliser. You can take it with your SSRI, and it will give you instant relief.

Can you deal with the real cause of the stress?

If not then take one step ata time. Plan a little, see what actions you can take to change your circumstances so you are not so stressed. Look at little changes first. Get some successes by aiming a t one very small target each day and see how much better you feel after you get those tasks done.

Look for jobs that need doing around your home, or alternatively perhaps a local Church needs help with thier cleaning rota?

So one small task each day, and soon you will be succeeding more than failing.

I have a anxiety disorder. I’m currently prescribed Klonopins, and I was on Xanex before these. Pills are a temporary solution. You need to see a therapist, they can help guide you through so you can get a handle on things. Now a days, it’s hard not to be stressed. My grandma always said "Get ahold of your nerves before they get ahold of you". You can’t let them rule your life, and it’s hard, but it is possible!!
Good luck =}

There are 2 programs out there that are famous for treating Panic Attacks and Anxiety successfully.
They are: Panic Away and The Linden Method.

You may wonder, "Which one is better?" Don’t worry, you’re not the only one with that question.

The Panic Away program is more appropriate for people who can cope with their Panic Attacks or Anxiety well.
Linden Method is more for those who aren’t really good in coping their Panic Attacks or Anxiety well.

Check out the reference for the full comparison.
